Web designer in Germany for businesses that value clear work and direct communication.
I’m Nenad Tomic, founder of S8 Studio and a web designer in Germany. Since 2006, I have helped businesses turn ideas, services and products into websites and digital communication people can understand and use.

Why I work as a web designer in Germany
Good digital work should make the business clearer—not more complicated.
I started in web design, but the work quickly revealed a wider truth: a website cannot succeed in isolation. Design, content, visibility and promotion affect one another.
A strong visual direction is weakened by confusing content. More traffic does not help when the website fails to explain the offer. A polished online store cannot perform if customers struggle to find products or trust the checkout.
That is why S8 Studio connects the disciplines around a practical business goal rather than treating each service as an unrelated task.
Some clients need a complete new presence. Others need one focused improvement: a better website, an online shop, stronger organic visibility, a paid campaign or a clearer identity.
My role is to understand the difference, define a sensible scope and explain decisions without hiding behind agency language.
How I work as a web designer in Germany
Six principles behind every project.
The exact deliverables change. The standards for communication and decision-making should not.
Understand before designing
The business, audience and objective come before colours, layouts or platforms.
Explain the reasoning
You should understand why an important recommendation is being made.
Keep the scope visible
Deliverables, responsibilities, external costs and limitations belong in the proposal.
Design for real use
The final result should work across actual devices, content and customer situations.
Measure honestly
No invented success numbers, ranking guarantees or unsupported badges.
Stay practical
The best solution is the one appropriate for the business—not the most complicated one.
Experience as a web designer in Germany
Web design became the foundation.
I began creating websites when desktop layouts and static pages defined most business presences. The tools changed; the need for clarity did not.
Design grew into a connected service.
Projects increasingly required identity, content, search visibility and online advertising to support the website rather than sit beside it.
Websites became operating systems for sales.
E-commerce added product structure, payment, shipping, catalogue management and a more complex customer journey.
The studio remains deliberately direct.
S8 Studio combines selected digital disciplines while keeping personal communication and accountability at the centre of the work.
A web designer in Germany does not mean one size fits all
One accountable point of contact across the project.
You communicate directly with the person responsible for understanding the brief and carrying the work forward. Where specialist input or external services are required, that dependency should be made clear rather than hidden.
Define the problem
Goals, audience, offer, priorities, scope and the useful order of work.
Shape the experience
Visual direction, structure, interface and communication across formats.
Build the solution
Websites, stores, content systems and agreed campaign foundations.
Support what follows
Maintenance, optimisation, campaigns or further development where agreed.
Local base, international experience
Different markets. The same need for clarity.
My project experience includes clients connected with Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, the United States, Serbia, New Zealand and other markets.
Remote collaboration works when decisions, responsibilities and feedback remain structured. Projects can be managed in English, while customer-facing content should be properly localised for the language and market it serves.

Is S8 Studio an agency or a freelancer?
S8 Studio is a founder-led design and digital studio. You work directly with Nenad Tomic, with the project scope and any required specialist dependencies explained in advance.
Can the project be managed entirely in English?
Yes. Discovery, proposals, communication and delivery can be handled in English. Customer-facing German content should be properly localised for its audience.
Do you work only with clients in Gummersbach?
No. S8 Studio is based in Gummersbach and can work remotely with businesses throughout Germany and internationally.
Are you currently a Google Partner?
No. S8 Studio does not currently claim Google Partner status. Google Ads work is described through the agreed campaign scope rather than an unsupported badge. Learn more about the programme on the official Google Partners website.
Do you use templates?
The approach follows the project. Existing technical foundations may be used when appropriate, but the structure, design and content decisions should serve the specific business rather than force every client into the same result.
Can I request only one service?
Yes. Services can be commissioned independently where the required foundations already exist. If another issue would materially limit the result, I will explain it before the scope is agreed.
Where can I see previous projects?
Visit the S8 Studio portfolio for selected examples.
